Personally, I could care less how a woman wears her hair or if she is wearing a bonnet, wrap, scarf, rollers or a hat. She can wear pajamas and house slippers in public, if she want...

But, there are consequences to dressing a certain way for women like it is for everyone else.

Yeah, they will be judged. Yeah, they will be stereotyped. Some people may treat them a certain way based on how they are dressed. It may not be right, but it is what it is...

Lastly, you gonna have some dudes who gonna pander to women for a host of reasons. I wouldn't put myself out there to support a woman's right to wear bonnets when I already know they have that right. I don't have to like nor accept it, but I simply don't care enough nor do I think it is a big enough issue to do what those dudes on those flicks are doing.
