Just think people risk death to be cute for at max 20 years, and thats being generous. Once these women get a certain age it won't matter what their butt looks like:mjlol:
The men in their age brackett don't really give a damn any more, and young dudes might be fukking but certainly don't want an old bat with a fat ass,and want it in a younger package. Not being happy with what god gave you is a personal hell you will have to deal with everyday at some point or the other, unless its dealt with immediately. Spend that money to work on yourselves through therapy, and seeking out a man who can fulfill you and make you feel beautiful. The right man is one of the best cures for any body issues you may have.
Y’all really think every decision women make is for a man...this is dumb. Yea, the chicks who get it to become IG thots, “models” and groupies are trying to get a man, but there are plenty of normal women who get various surgeries simply because they have something they want to correct, enhance or change, the tech/knowledge is available to do it and they have the money. Please stop thinking every woman’s actions are done with how men view them in mind, especially those who already have supportive accepting men/significant others in their lives. :rudy:

Thank you. People are so simple. Everything is not about low self esteem or men. Most women who get it are mothers who want their bodies back. But god forbid, they don't deserve that right?

I think subconsciencely they are,I would say the same about a man too if you think I'm being sexist. But the truth is if the opposite sex gave plenty validation, and love to the skinnier, less shapely body type. Women would love having the skinnier, less shapely body type!. I wonder how many black women with fat asses are getting ass reduction surgeries because they hate the way it looks?not many if any. Women only get rid of breast because of the pain and inconvience, but mostly its a pain issue. I doubt women just wake up saying "I wish I had a flat chest:jbhmm:"

Having a supportive significant other doesn't stop you from still wanting validation from others, and thats what you need to work on. That doesn't stop you from wanting what another woman has that you view as superior, that you only view as superior because black men have said it was superior. This is engrained in your brain at this point whether you like it or not,you can't really say men aren't the reason, whether directly or indirectly.Your s/o opinion should be good enough, and thats what you need to work on it is not. Men create your standard of beauty, and we need to be more responsible.

Lol @ all this. I’m just gonna say ok. Confidence has never been anything I lack nor have I ever sought validation from others. That’s something all my friends would say off bat - she does what she wants/doesn’t care what others will say. Again, you don’t know the motivation for everyone who gets work.

I will take your word for it,still not sure how you can just flat out say I'm wrong when I'm quite sure you are in the %1 percent, and most women who do it have some sort of self image issue based on what god gave them. Otherwise they wouldn't spend thousands and risk death to "make themselves feel better" or "fix" something they don't feel is broken:respect:

Most of these issues directly or indirectly or based on mens reactions to them, reactions they've seen men give to other women instead of them,or reactions they are having based on the standards of beauty set by their demographic of men or their society in general.

it's really not. women look in the mirror and feel a dress would look better with more bust or butt, they look good in their swimsuit but would look amazing with the love handles gone, etc. you can be fine with how you look but still want to make it better. it's like being fine with your career but still striving for more. many women aren't driven by seeking a certain reaction from others, they simply want to look their best, and if they choose surgery to take them the last mile, that's what they want.

@BlackPearl The Empress What was the follow up and maintenance like?
What did you do for your stomach? Lipo?

After surgery you wear a faja for 3 months. It is very uncomfortable but well worth it. After that there is no maintenance other than what you would normally do to stay healthy. Yes lipo the stomach, take the fat and put it in the booty.

Where are they getting there idea of what "amazing" looks like from, subconsciensly they got the idea of what looks good and what looks bad from somewhere. You are ignoring the power of the subconscience mind over a lifetime, people pick up things that are harmful to their self view and world view:respect:

You can pick up these things and not even realize you have it as baggage, just because there was no tramatic experience behind it,doesn't mean you didn't pick up harmful ideas subconsciensely. What your saying is dangerous, because you are allowing women to ignore underlying issues, because they aren't surface issues that are easy to pinpoint. Women should at least search very very deep, before you cut deep, they aren't doing that.

again, you can't say that. for every woman who turns 18 and runs out to get something done, there are women who wait years because they are/have asked themselves all the questions as to "why".

as for where they get these concepts from - as blackpearl already said, many women who get surgery are those who have had kids and slightly older women (40's/50's) who had a body they liked better but it's not in the cards for them to get back to that without surgery. you're really overthinking this, cosmetic procedures (both surgical and non surgical) are surging in popularity, both because they're less taboo and because prices have come down. for some, getting a quick enhancement is no different than picking up some hair extensions, slapping on a new shade of lipstick, completing p90x and dropping 15 lbs, etc. people want to look their best, have the means to do it, and they do. it aint about self hate, societal expectations, it's about living your best life and doing what makes you happy.

You saying this says alot, all of those things from extensions to make up can in fact be about self hate, which in long term will prevent you from living your best life.
I would even take it a step further even though I already know you will be offended, due to body dismorphia I am willing to say women can't overcome many of these falsehoods and doubts about their self image WITHOUT the help of men. I think you should agree that men can help women with how they view themselves if you humble yourself and don't look at it as an attack on women. Obviously we can only help so much, but men can have a strong influence in a negative way, which means we can have a strong influence in a positive way:respect:

i don't agree with this...you're off base. we can stop discussing now because you seem to think you have all the answers, so please continue to believe what you believe and others will continue to do what they want for the million different reasons each one of them has.

Yes when one party is not humble enough yet to agree on anything ,the discussion should end:respect:

Myself. fukk 12(1)!
I wouldn't do it, but if someone has done their research, weighed the pros and cons and are willing to take the calculated risk, I say go for it :yeshrug:

I don't look down on others getting cosmetic surgery, even if its not something I'd consider for myself.
