I just think they didn't get her character on the main Roster . I mean if you think about it she did start out playing almost a Eugene level of naïveté in nxt and always losing until she got hurt came back and went on that redemption tour to become champ . It was a underdog story . They skipped that on the main roster

She has to change her character up a bit, in NXT she wasn't afraid to get dirty once the bell hit, now in WWE they got her saying she doesn't really want to hurt anyone and can't pick up a kendo stick.

Also sending people back to NXT is not the answer because it's not financially feasible anymore. They pay people too much on the main roster compared to the majority of NXT contracts so it's sink or swim once they go up now.
