Glad to see there’s a bay thread...after a ten year hiatus I recently purchased all the software/laptop/speakers to start making beats again (copped them in April of this year). At the end of May I started floating out beats to all the folk who I’d listen to in 2005-2007...Lee Majors was one of the first to feel my beats and hopped on acouple...I floated some out to Cousin Fik and he was feeling acouple too, he messaged me letting me know that Droop-E and Uncle 40 were feelin my beats and that they decided to hop on 2 tracks...sorry for the rant, but I posted this here cause I’m really tryin to bring back that “Hyphy 06” shyt I grew up on...”The Tunnel” is dead as fukk so I just wanted to share my story here...my resume consists of E-40, Cousin Fik, Turf Talk, Droop-E, King Hot and Lee Majors...if any of y’all know any rappers who tryin to restore the feeling then let me know...yay area stand up..:salute:
I recently listened to my hyphy era playlist, and outside some standouts, I ain’t trying to hear that shyt make a comeback  :russ:

But :salute: @ the resume you’ve built

Never been to the Bay but I always felt it was the west coast Philly. Im coo with Freeway and he worked with The Jacka alot and he talks about this alot that's why he clicked with the region so heavy...,

So solute to the bay ...can't wait to visit one day.

To my ol school bay heads whatever happened to Mr. ill? nikka had some heat

He's from Philly but he reps Oakland and he's a Christian rapper now.. he still got lyrics too.

Mr. Ill

Rappin Ron was so dope tho and one of he many tragic cases of talented west coast rappers passing or doing a prison bid before getting major exposure. It's why the west coast main stream run died out in the late 90's...

Another underrated bay/Oakland rapper Governor...
