Yeah, I don't think this is smart but as long as he doesn't catch a case I will be in for Vol. 3. I was looking forward to a different take on the franchise .

I'm glad Gunn is back but I can agree with this reasoning its part of the reason why I understood why Disney fired him in the first place.

This makes Disney look bad. You fired him because of the jokes and less than a year later you hire him back for the same job. They should have shelved the film until the controversy died down then announce production is back underway while retaining Gunn as director.
