I been telling yall it got to a good state last season. They just found 4 more season in a data mine too.
People who hate it been playing it for a long time it seems. I'm not a conquest fan, I prefer breakthrough and Rush which isn't as good as it could be. Several maps I don't like but it's a fun time. A lot of bugs have been fixed.

Can't please everyone huh.

Yeah the biggest issue this game has right now is there's still a couple launch maps that are complete trash.

Gunplay is also too arcadey but that's more of a design decision.

:francis: I decided to download it and play it again.

Outside the somewhat wonky shooting mechanics and the soldiers looking a bit too small, it is finding its footing.

I wish it was a bit more serious in tone; I would like for the movement mechanics to be more fluid, and I want more destructible environments.

But neglecting those design decisions, it is close to BF4 levels in terms of gameplay. The legacy maps should just be dropped out of rotation until they get their reworks though. They can take you out of the game quickly and make ya want to delete it.

Bringing it back to a positive point, I like that their are more weapons and gadgets, and bringing back classes was a good decision.

Since I haven't deleted it and played more than 15 minutes, I think it is worth a buy at $30 if you already haven't bought the game.

I think if we had more lore, it would set a more serious tone.

Michael K. WIlliams' character was set to be a central part of what they were establishing storywise until his untimely death. However, I think the game was having an identity crisis in development. They wanted this nigh post-apocalyptic war scenario where nations are collapsing, climate going awry, and mother nature taking back her property, but they threw in a lot of quipping characters in clean looking environments ala Fortnite. It's like, just pick a lane.

Some prematch cinematics like BF1 did can help sell the angle that serious shyt is going down.

they dropped the ball in the story department. 2142 had way better lore and bf4 clearly was heading in that direction with final stand. its like they got some new project leader for 2042 and he was too arrogant to build on what was already a strong foundation. 2142 had so many dope concepts it woulda been cool to get more prototypes instead of the bullshyt we got in 2042 :scust:

They already had titans and hover tanks in the final stand dlc. :mjcry:

Good games last night. That Exposure game we played went to shyt so quick. :pachaha:

I have to edit my UI, there’s so much bloat on the screen playing support. I’m just going to stick to the squad because helping other players ain’t it.:snoop:

If there’s a discord server, I can use that to communicate.
