you reaching. its not better than bfv from a gunplay or movement perspective and bf1 has way more content.

BFV definitely has better gunplay and movement, but BF2042 is overall a better experience than both of those games now.

And yeah, BF2042 is still struggling content wise but the new Renewal map is really good. We should get the Orbital rework this month too.

I dont think anything in BFV and BF1 can fukk with those custom Rush modes in BF Portal like Ultimate Rush, Squid G's Rush Chaos, and Epic Rush.

Cross play with PC makes this game a miserable experience imo. They refuse to allow console only cross play and have no plans on adding mouse and keyboard support for consoles, aim assist doesn't work correctly. Turn off crossplay and you'll never find a match.

They fixed aim assist in the last patch or the one before it. It's not perfect, but it's a super smooth experience now.

I think they said input lag is now under 5ms or something.

A controller can't match the accuracy and sensitivity of a mouse without extremely strong aim assist. KB&M players can do shyt that would be nearly impossible on a controller, snipers pin pointing headshots from across the map before you can react, people doing near instant 180 degree turns and killing you when you get the drop on them. That's only possible with a mouse.

There's a reason every other crossplay game separate the lobbies by input or have ridiculously strong aim assist for controllers.

There is a gap between controller and KB&M but its not that serious lol. You can still hit the top of the scoreboard if youre good with a controller.

You have to be really good with a controller playing against someone that's complete garbage to win most fire fights on a controller.
You can reach the top of the scoreboard, but you'll have to take on a supportive role to do it on controller.

The shyt just isn't fun when it feels like I'm at a permanent disadvantage against KB&M users. The game feels better with crossplay off, but it takes forever to find a match without it.

I think you're over exaggerating a little bit. Its not a permanent advantage, not every mnk player is some FPS prodigy with a machine that gets them 144 fps at all times, and we aren't talking about a game like Counter-Strike or Valorant here.

Better positioning will do way more for you than accuracy in most situations. And there are A LOT of mnk players who feel aim assist is unfair, especially with hip-fire.

BATTLEFIELD 2042 UPDATE #2.1.1​

The main focus of this smaller Quality of Life Update is to improve gunplay. Included are several weapon balance changes and bug fixes to ensure a consistent gameplay experience between our weapon offerings:

• The M16A3 and M60E4 now have correct recoil reduction on Consoles to ensure their performance is consistent across all platforms
• The M16A3 and M60E4 have received balance changes to improve their performance
• The Avancys, K30 and MP9 have received balance changes to reduce their performance
• We have resolved an issue that was preventing some players from being able to Aim Down Sights (ADS) after exiting a vehicle
• A hit registration issue has been resolved which could occur when using a controller and firing weapons over a sustained period
