They need to just drop the frostbite engine. It’s really not worth all this trouble. Every game that uses it always end up with fukked up release full of bugs. Add on the fact that shyt was $70 and they’re just going to abandon it and charge $70 for another BF that will be fukked up on its release

The fact that all of their games are running on this shyt is ridiculous. shyt was made by people who do first person shooters...and it's used for Fifa and Madden????

If EA wasn't greedy they would do what Square-Enix did when FFXIV was so bad they shutdown the game for 9 months and completely redid the game and launched it as a Realm Reborn. Since then it has been the best MMORPG. Battlefield should give everyone who bought 2042 the next BF for free..

I didnt buy BF1 or 5 originally because BF4 was such a down grade from BF3.

The maps are the only thing BF3 did better than BF4. Otherwise BF4 is better in every way except for the terrible first year where the game was unplayable due to bad net code.

Should have had these in game almost a year ago. Dumbass execs at EA had to strong arm the devs to rush it out for the smallest scrap of stock jump. Late stage capitalism at its finest; an ouroboros eating itself.

The game definitely needed at least another year of development. But it's not only EA's fault, this has been status quo for DICE for the entire last generation, and that's why they've been bleeding talent so heavily.

I think Tom Henderson said that DICE wasted 2 years of development scrapping the game and starting over because they couldn't figure out what to do, basically no vision, and eventually they made regular battlefield conquest gameplay out of the scraps they had intended for a Battle Royale game.

EA responded to Jeff Grubb by saying he's lying. Not surprised, dudes been exposed mad times.

These dudes push rumors and speculations as leaks for clout and are in the business of appearing like insiders and experts so they can bring traffic to their articles and shows. That's literally how they make their living.

I fukk with Tom Henderson cause he's been shooting like Steph Curry when it comes to leaks, but I found it interesting how he made sure to include that this was a rumor from Jeff Grubb, and not one of his own sources.

The new map is fukking crazy. Completely shyts on all of the launch maps. Still not enough content in this new season and game overall.

DICE really put one of the best maps in the whole franchise in the worst BF game lol
