My fukking charge port on my Surface Pro 6 started smoking out of nowhere last night. Melted the tip that connects to the charge port on the side

Apparently this is an issue and shyt with 3rd party chargers (had this 3rd party charger for a year after the official MS one went kaput after a year...the official one costs 130 bucks, paid 30 for this replacement joint). I'm about to camby this shyt and might join Jobs Gang and get a Macbook Pro.

M1 MacBook Pro’s just dropped but they cost an arm and a leg. I’ll tag you in the other thread so you can see what everybody has to say. I love mine but sometimes I wonder if it’s just too much power
