i didnt say it wasnt a good verse. i agree with most of what you are saying. point is , when dudes go on on white guys like this its always an automatic win. white dude is corny, if he had any balls this wouldnt have happened this way.

There's definitely a fine line in performance art between pandering and being authentic. But, that threshold is different for everyone.
Normally, I would be right there with you in calling out the politics. However, in this case, I think he's being genuine.
Were moving in a time when, race is a hot topic and consciousness is trendy. I agree with your post. Yes, calling out white supremacy in a battle against a white rapper is a 1 hit K.O. It's not fair, especially, with a black crowd. But It is what it is.
With that being said, I still have my reasons for believing his authenticity.
A) His knowledge was extensive.
B) His knowledge wasn't shallow. This wasn't some "black lives matter" type reductionist bullshyt.
More, importantly,
C) His rhymes and punch lines did not suffer as an expense of the topic.
Besides, since Loaded Lux, the third verse ether has become standard.
Anything is fair game.
I empathize with the dude. but as a white rapper, buddy should have came prepared. Race was bound to come up eventually.
