Because black boys and men are the dominant creators of the art form and many defend it at their own expense because of the money and the amount of black men who have gotten rich off it. So many prefer to look the other way cause they feel they benefit more.

How many black women are in Hip Hop? But how many rap diss black women? I don’t consume hip hop, it’s not an art form that I care about especially since black women have been pushed out of it as of late.
