The Josh Primo pick was catastrophic
But atleast the guys they’ve drafted can play
The primo pick should've been a firable offense
Taking a guy in the lottery who wasnt even projected to be a first rounder? and then he turns out to not only be a shytty player, but also a huge pervert?
They also took Malaki Branham and Blake Wesley in that same draft, two guys currently out of the rotation. And they picked up both options. Their GM basically blew a draft that they had 3 picks in. (Strike 1, 2 3)
They paid zach collins $17 million and $18 million, and he's fukking putrid (strike 4)
Drafted jeremy sochan, a 4 who can't shoot anywhere outside the paint reliably. He's essentially tony allen but not as good on defense.
Their center rotation is terrible. Once wemby sits, they use either Collins or Charles Bassey. Neither are NBA players. GM needs to address this.
Sandro Mamukelashvili is wholly forgettable
Tre Jones is just an OK backup point guard. He's hit his ceiling. Pretty forgettable
Keldon is a terrible defender, low IQ, can score sometimes but that's about it
The rookie Stephon Castle is cool. Can't shoot to save his life tho. Which is a big issue. Spurs keep drafting guys who can't shoot.
Julian Champagnie is their only player that's actually decent on both ends. Can shoot and plays decent defense. He's probably tied with Harrison Barnes for 3rd best player on this roster
outside of 40 year old Chris Paul, 33 year old Harrison Barnes and Champagnie, the roster is absolute swill.
So basically Brian Wright has missed on pretty much every pick besides wemby. (jury still out on Castle). Legit the Spurs' last great draft pick before Wemby was probably
