All the new era battle rappers "can" rap on a beat too. It's not that they can't. It's the old school rappers that can't adjust to the "modern" era.

Not all the newer battle rappers can rap over beats, some of them sound awful over beats cause they aren't good MC's, they are more spoken word type dudes rather than being good rounded rappers.
