I'm not really feeling it. Having Superman painted as a villain is just stupid. Having him being shunned is just stupid... The problem with this movie is that its leaving off the shytty has MOS script. I never liked how they potrayed him in the first one and what they're doing with this is more of the same. the whole "dark" "realism" only goes by so far.
They fumbled with the dark knight trilogy as well. The plot holes got bigger and bigger with each sequel. So you have a flawed MOS, and a flawed trilogy being produced by the flawed makers and what you have is more flawed dialogue. And while I'm sure the CGI will amaze, I got a feeling that just as the movies proceeding this one, it will taste good first viewing but will leave a bad after taste.

Why are Batman and Superman fighting?
Didn't Batman keep dossiers and make contingency plans on all of the freaks in the Justice League?
You know Bats is all about the prep time. He probably trying to take out Supes before he becomes a problem. No doubt they'll be friends by the end though.

Are they that shook over what Marvel is doing or are they that pressed to ride Marvel's coattails they have to piggyback???
I watched this trailer again. Not really feeling this. Unless they find a way to strip superman of his powers temporarily or give Affleck the same stuff that shot Steve Rogers up with, how are they supposed to legit fight.
And if they're going for "realism" because of how they wrote the first one, kryptonite is not an option.. I don't give a fukk how they try to spin it. IF they have kryptonite in this movie I'm gonna be

Did you even watch the trailer? There is a debate going on. What they are showing there is a statue of him and its a monument for the victims from the Kryptonians attack. There are people who are worshipping him and people who are questioning his place in the world. There are two sides. Batman is on the side of not trusting him. Which is what Batman would do. This is mostly taken from the Dark Knight Returns graphic novel.
