I don’t know how I feel about this. After the way “Killing Joke” and “Hush” were handled, I don’t know if I really want them messing with “The Long Halloween.”

Losing confidence in DC’s ability to put together good animated films. Used to be their strength, but here lately....that’s been lost.

I don't know why they just don't do straight adaptations...

Is The Batman based off the long Halloween?

I'm not sure but I wouldn't think so--considering Nolan's The Dark Knight was heavily inspired by the long halloween. But I guess I wouldn't be surprised if they re-used a bunch of the ideas.
