my only complaint is how lame jim gordon was in this. I didn't find out till later how close batman and gordon was. In these movies Gordon like didn't even exist hardly. Thats the one up Nolan def had on Burton. I loved batmans relationship with gordon in all of nolans films.

i vaguely remember the hype but i do remember the batman cereal, them doing a tour with the batmobile and those black popcorn bags with the bat symbol on it.

i remember my granddad took me downtown cuz they said in the paper batman and the batmobile would be down there i wore the black batman shirt with the logo and everythang.i get down there and its some adam west lookin piece of shyt.i took a picture with dude and that ugly batmobile with the face.i was expecting movie batmobile had the face whole time on the way

"Dance with the Devil"

One of the main songs slated for inclusion on Prince's Batman album was the 7:54 "Dance with the Devil". The song was pulled at the last minute and replaced with an edited version of the chaotic "Batdance", reportedly because Prince deemed "Dance with the Devil" to be too dark. "Dance with the Devil" samples Jack Nicholson's dialogue as The Joker, as well as the sound of falling rain. "Dance with the Devil" is officially unreleased; however, it is circulating amongst tape traders.

Why don't y'all feel it hasn't aged well? I watch it all of the time. It has a noir, gothic feel to it that makes it seem timeless. The effects are good and low tech enough to make it not seem cheesy, the fight scenes are top notch. Joker is sinister enough...it' a great film to me and the best Batman film.
