I just got back from seeing Guardians of the Galaxy. Batista killed it. Dude did a lot better than what I thought he'd do.

I'm happy for Denim Dave, as soon as I saw him in Man of the Iron Fist I knew he was going to make some good Hollywood money (couldn't same that when I saw him in Scorpion King 3 tho

Nah. He said it was supposed to be announced soon though, but who knows. Warner Bros keeps their shyt real close to the chest.
is Batista the star of this movie? Were they banking on Batista to carry this movie? Show me some proof that Batista is the sole reason this movie is a success and I'll give him props for it. Name me just one person that went to this solely based on a Batista having a role.

Troll as we may, I'm looking back at this movie and I think that Batista did so much scene-stealing (along with Rocket Racc00n) that it's going to be hard to boo him. Dude did his thing in GOTG. Drax was a babyface killer. Closest thing we have to a live-action Kratos.

It's called Guardians of the Galaxy, not Starlord feat The Guardians. I'm willing to bet there were wrestling fans who simply said because Batista is in it, i wanna go see it. Especially seeing how well his performance was reviewed.
Just like when the Mummy 2 came out...oh shyt The Rock is gonna be in the Mummy, lets see what this is gonna be like, same with The Scorpion King.
