My only problem with Bernie is that he lives and represents one of the whitest, most rural and smallest places in the US when he's really from Brooklyn and then lived in Chicago. A lot of words, not enough action and consistency for being efficient among the cold and calculated corporate America and Washington.
With that being said his stance on guns is reasonable given the people he represent, rural people with culture of using guns for hunting. There's probably not a lot of police there either, so communities take it upon themselves.
Vice President might really be good for him, then he doesn't need to take actions and can keep on using words to perhaps affect the next generation of action takers.
