Baseball is also the best to view live, arguably hockey is too. Football and boxing are the best “community watch” experience

Baseball is best to watch in person

Yankees, Mets, Red Sox's, Dodger's, pretty much the good MLB teams a good amount are watching the game
But most teams average and below....the fans are there for the vibes and could give a fukk about the game (when they really should be protesting shytty ownership)

In-Person->Premier League (1st division European soccer England, Spain, Italy, and Germany) + Champions League + World Cup + Continental tournament
The vibes of an in person soccer match>>>>
The songs
The women
End to end action
High leverage moments like a penalty shoot out

TV->NFL + College football.....Usually watch 1 game + RedZone on iPad

Football is not great TV unless you’re watching it right in a bar or a social gathering. There are too many pauses and dead time. There’s only 8 minutes of actually football played over the course of a game.

Also baseball is good live.

Football is best on tv because you get replays to show you what really happened.

Live or on the radio you not gonna see the guard pulled and got a pancake block to spring the RB. Nobody at the game is watching the damn left guard.

All sports are best watched on a screen.
I guess I was at the venue to much.

I just like to be at home and watch now.
When I was a crazy concert goer to sports live watch guy.

still never seen a football or hockey game live tho.
As I know no black people crazy enough.
to go to a bears game in that hawk.
Plus football feels like a sport to go with a group.
Would enjoy possibly seeing a superbowl.
if they had it in a winter venue.
some years like back in the day.
As I would enjoy being rhe crazy black guy.
covered in snow gear in the stands of a superbowl in the snow.

I like the snow and winter gear though.

If we're going globally, with sports in general.

Soccer is the best sport to watch live hands down, best atmosphere.

Football and baseball are good for social Media because of how slow the games are.

Soccer/basketball on the Radio.

Soccer/hockey/basketball ties for watching TV.

This is coming from someone who's been to Soccer games in South America, Football games in the Can and US, Baseball game in Canada and US, and basketball game in Canada and US.

Even hockey games in Canada too.

Tell em bro.

We don't even have to go as far as first div, watching some 2nd/3rd div, I didn't realize how the supporters go crazy.

Some eastern European and south america clubs have crazy atmosphere too.

I like your logic OP.

I loved listening to baseball games until I fell asleep as a kid. There's even a podcast that does an entire fake baseball league for this purpose. I still love watching baseball live in the stadium. Football I love tailgating more than anything, but much rather watch it at home or the bar. Basketball love TV or live in the arena. Not been to enough soccer or hockey games to really have an opinion. Some of the MLS teams around me seem to have a really good crowd atmosphere so I need to peep more games.
