Football is better for the bar than TV.
Too many breaks in action to sit and watch it unless you are also socializing with other people while you do it.

Prefer Basketball on TV, they got the best commentary if you have the right crew , see a dumb play. and cut to shaq and chuck at halftime clowning the play. Its fun >> a bunch of theoretical X's and O's from broadcasters like other sports.
but i come from the perspective of a person who enjoyed playing these sports, and not a wannabe coach or GM

I'd rather not consume a baseball game at all than listen to it on the radio :heh: Plus the fact the Mets got the best TV broadcast crew in baseball makes me wanna watch the TV broadcast even more :wow: The Mets radio announcer is a cool guy but I need them visuals :takedat:

My dad is a Yankees fan and he used to listen to Sterling call Yankees games all the time when I was growing up. An A BOMB! From A Rod! He's old though, I cannot do radio for live games.

Baseball is good for live games in the first half of the season even if you don't follow it. Good weather, cheap seats, hangout with the brehs, family or whatever, have a couple of beers in the sun, not too wild

Only been to one hockey game in my life, and i still say Hockey is the best live sport.
Sat up against the glass and it was the funnest experience i've had at a live game. Been to dozens of basketball, football, and baseball games.

Never seen a live pro Boxing match though, i suspect Boxing might be up there if you got ringside seats.

I think football is better on TV for the commentary. Just hearing a Tony Romo or Troy Aikman break down a play.

Basketball was made for social media before social media existed. Before twitter, we debate about it at the barbershop or at school, the trash talking and of course the latent racism of the fans. Explains why the culture is so toxic, just like social media.

Wouldn’t have it any other way.
