HitGOAT is right. Some jobbers became very popular, delivered good matches, and helped make megastars out of the big named rasslers.

In addition to Barry Horowitz, here are some other legendary jobbers who deserve a spot in the HoF:
  • Steve Lombardi
  • Barry O (unless Vince is being petty)
  • Pez Whatley
  • Pedro Morales
  • Dwayne Gill
  • Iron Mike Sharpe
  • Danny Davis (the referee, not the other one)
  • The Mulkey Brothers
  • Lanny Poffo
  • Reno Riggins
  • The State Patrol
  • Porkchop Cash
  • The B.W.O.
  • S.D. Jones
  • Ranger Ross
  • Corporal Kirschner
  • Sgt. Craig "Pitbull" Pittman
I'm forgetting a bunch of men & women who excelled in the enhancement talent role, but our favorite childhood rasslers wouldn't be legends without the people above making them look like main eventers.
I had no idea STeve Lombardi was The Brooklyn Brawler :russ:

Brooklyn Brawler should absolutely be in the hall of fame. give him his flowers while he can smell them

horrowitz had a good run but not HOF worthy. brawler is the only known jobber that should get in

Only person he talks bad about is the one who ended his career :gucci:

Scott Hall who was known to be good with fans, just throwing shots at Scott because he was an off day or gone off substance. No reason to tell this story or tell it with the name included. It was all love and tribute when he passed though.

He is certainly right about his critique of wrestlers, but does come off very bitter, like if he was booked as the top guy with the strap 24/7 he wouldn't say half of the takes he does on various wrestlers. The premise of the OP is Bret thinks wrestlers who were super safe should be in the HALL OF FAME. If he never had his career ended by an unsafe wrestler, would he even make this comment?

I'll let you tell it. And don't kill me, because Bret in my personal top 5 as a wrestler.
