I wanna see the Video of the one he hit of Ted Lilly at the Stadium

That shyt was half way up the upper deck and the ball was on the up, if there was no Upper Deck at YS that would have hit the White Facade or whatever they call it on the top of YS.

Mo Struck out Bonds in the 9th in that game

Oh, great. Steroid talk. :stopitslime:

I don't care what Bonds was doing. We may never know the whole truth. All I know is everyone was on steroids/enhancers in that era and nobody was even touching what Bonds was doing..

There were people having 50 home run seasons all over the place but not like Bonds. They didn't see ONE PITCH all game and turn on that one pitch and hit it out every time.

You can't begin to compare anyone to what Bonds was doing. He walked 232 times in a season and still hit 45 home runs. Imagine if they had even tried to pitch to him just a little..? He may have cracked a hundred. :noah:

Bonds is the undisputed.

Yeah his dominance during that stretch was truly unreal. His batting eye was insane. He almost NEVER looked fooled on anything. Several managers like LaRussa, Brenly, etc hated on him too and had their pitchers pitching around him even if the game wasn't close. Making sure Bonds didn't shine was a close 2nd in the priority list behind winning the game.

On the first pitch, they'd either try to nibble a corner or throw a chase pitch to see if he'd bite. If the count went to 1-0, they'd just put him on base. Even when it was a lefty specialist that was brought in just to face him, they did the same thing.

People can credit his strength, endurance, etc to the steroids but the ability to read the pitches the way he did and square up just about any ball that came in his direction? Steroids can't do that. That's why all of the other guys that were using the same substances couldn't come close to touching him.

Barry THE GAWD. I remember buying a Barry Bonds bat at Caldor like 15 years ago...(I'm 26) and trying to mimic his batting stance.
