BarNone...stop deleting posts and threads

It was in the Trayvon Martin thread there were a ton of deleted posts and I heard Tom was banned from here. I'm of the opinion that ignorance should be out in the open for others to ridicule and that we are grown and mature enoug to deal with it.
Also what is considered offensive and racist can be highly subjective and vary by person and culture. It's not always set in stone and clearly some racism is more tolerated in certain circles like the term CAC so to me it's just about consistency and letting us handle it as opposed to deciding what is offensive for us.
The only clear stuff to me that should be censored are naked pics and things like trannies viruses and clear spam that is trying to sell garbage that has nothing to do with the thread.
I don't remember you in sohh and I'm not trying to come sideways at you I simply have an objection to how it was handled and a clear difference of opinion, otherwise I've got no issue with you and I thought the podcast was a great idea and I didn't listen to it all but it seemed like it was well put together and one of these days i will probably engage in battle in one of them

You about to try and create your little "freedom alliance" in HL now? I was Non-Chalant1 on KTL. But I never got involved with beefing with anyone. With that said, Tom was CLEARLY trolling. Not only that, his posts got reported so much that I had no choice. Him getting banned from HL was a group decision and wasn't even initially my idea. I think you underestimate how often that dude was getting reported. Furthermore, he wasn't furthering the discussion.
He was saying shyt to Aroman like: "Didn't read
" after she would write out a detailed response. Then she'd respond like, "why are you in HL if you have no intention of participating?" He'd say, "Aren't you a chick? 
"And it'd go on and on and distract from the thread. He had derailed so many to the point where I was like, well if people can't ignore him, then he's going to have to fall back for a little bit. Besides that, I had talked to that dude on the side more than once and he wouldn't listen. It didn't have to shyt to do with his opinion. He wasn't trying to give an opinion, he was blatantly trolling. You think the guy who is trying to promote this board the most would ban someone whose contributing? I respect your concern, but you're taking up for the wrong guy.

fair enough although i think most of that banter where its just foolish tends to go by the wayside and the thread will just pick up where it was going but you bring up fair enough points to justify your actions granted i still feel it gleaned toward a slight overreaction but i see where your coming from.
I just think people get too sensitive sometimes and are geared toward shutting out others opinions but if you say he was just acting a fool with aroman then it is what it is.
