I'm thinking it's going to be a very meta movie
my theory is that barbie is going to about barbie realizing that she is actually not a real person but a corporation creation that watches her every move and that she is actually one of the world's most famous toys
she then realizes that all of her adventures and career motivations were not driven by her but by the corporation and she now wants to discover who she truly is
all the while trying to break the programming of ken and the gang
sort of like Truman show meets lego movie meets free guy
