Thats top secret information
You realize he didn't say would you have him do a different but dangerous job as a substitute.

There are ANY non-deadly jobs out there.

Not only that, I have a strong feeling that within the chart you cited too, football players account for a high amount of those deaths...so if anything you can choose a different sport to be an athlete in. And funny thing? Average sale for football is 6 figures. Way lower than baseball or basketball - much safer sports.

:patrice:

OP said would u let your kid play Football knowing he can risk brain injury. He also said he'd let his son get a skillset. We dont know what that skill set is thats why I posted the chart. I pointed out that all jobs have risks. Including whatever his sons skillset would include. A cab/truck driver can get in a car accident and have a brain injury. A construction worker can fall and get a brain injury.

The chart I posted shows that the risks for death are higher for normal jobs over being an athlete, wether Football baseball or whatever.

If he's insistent on getting his brains knocked around on the reg I'll smack the shyt out of him, on the reg. At least until he finds a better hobby.

My son wants to play now, I refused to let him. I let him play baseball and basketball.

Funny thing is another one of my sons asked about playing soccer and I kind of :stopitslime: at 1st then I thought about those deals those soccer players getting and :ohhh:
You better sign his ass up for some youth soccer
I feel like we could take over the shyt if we had decent training at a young age.
Then imagine him at 18 still putting in work

Hell get paid:blessed:

He can drive a cab and get killed by a drunk driver.

He can drive a truck and fall asleep behind the wheel and die

He can be a fireman and get killed trying to put out a 4 alarm blaze

He can be a cop and get killed from a criminal trying to escape.

He can work at a post office and a disgruntled emplyee who got fired could shoot up the place.

He can work as a bank teller and a bank robber could kill him during a robbery.

There are risks with all jobs.
Not the same.

Yall really not letting your sons play football? Have any of you all actually played yourself?

I played hs ball. I would probably let my son play little league FB but once middle school starts, and he shows no signs of being extremely talented, I’ll try to put a stop to it. My son is 1yr old now and i’m already showing him soccer and basketball highlights:pachaha: he stares at the tv like :dwillhuh:

he gone learn though
