Good for him to recognize though. I understand inflation, but that never seemed to be a problem in the hair business until post-Covid/lockdowns. I paid $20 + a tip for ages and then once Covid hit, it was $40 + a tip. Nothing gradual at all

Glad that he saw the bigger picture. You gotta stay connected to the community and be aware of its concern about daily expenses and all. Price gouging is now making long time customers skip the shop altogether and distancing yourself from genuinely good people. Going from $20 to $55 in less than 5 years is ripping people off.
