This is the most overhyped contrived piece of garbage horror film that I’ve even in quite sometime ….completely dull and predictably dim witted horror troupes all throughout this shyt ..the only thing it had going was it’s gimmick “twist” but even that was half baked .. this bytch is supposed to be a human but is strong enough to rip arms heads apart like she’s a minotaur …these types of films insult their audience… 1/10 rating

First 40 minutes are a master class in horror and suspense, then does a complete 180 once the “monster” is revealed at the end of act 1. A subversive turn, but I fukked with it regardless because of how it was done. Also dug the scenes where we went back in time to see how he house/neighborhood was before it went to shyt

Tess first escaped and went back for AJ. That made me so angry, because that wasn’t her personality at all previously, she was scared as hell, but all of a sudden wants to be the hero. She should’ve just got in the car and took off.

Justin Long did amazing in this, as well as Skarsgard. He just looks like he’s up to no good, so to play on that was genius, and set up a very tense act 1. Georgina Campbell is so fine She played her role so well and it was believable until the parts of the spoiler that I brought up above
