You are purposely playing semantics. And it's funny, b/c all this uproar started b/c @Poitier simply said give credit where it's due while @ejthompson23 made some pretty disgusting remarks against AAs. Maybe you're not an idiot but your comments were definitely idiotic and idgaf quite frankly I'll stand up for my AA ancestors and their legacy in which they fought for civil rights that other blacks in the diaspora can enjoy. Don't ever fukkin take away from their achievements, and in turn mine. I wouldn't have been able to get educated at institutions of higher learning if it wasn't for their blood, sweat, and tears.Calling me an idiot because you can't logically refute my point. OK.
P.S.: No matter how much I disagree with you, I would NEVER call you an idiot (or any names). I was a big fan of yours on the coli. I think you're a down sista. But you even lending credence to @Poitier 's diatribe against Haitians is disheartening and disappointing.
The US supported those dictators.

Yep. and the natives did exactly what the cacs did. Hated on and burned it down.this thread it all types of trollin, my favorite thing though is
"give us the island"
wasn't that already tried in Liberia? :none:
sp
speak for yourself, maybe where you live, in socal we def support black business, better look up baldwin hills, ladera heights, and ingelwood.
I do know Haiti is under your peoples' control and you don't even want to be there
MY people labored and built this country. Its my birthright. You are a guest who can sit at the table if you have manners.
As somebody who still got family in Haiti and my mom just came back frm Haiti yesterday I can provide some insights...the exchange rate for $1 American dollar is 49 Haitian ones...even with a minimum wage job, 100k Haitians sending some money back home is a big relief for the people there who really cnt afford nothing...that cause they're lazy, because the country and its leaders just got nothing to offer them...my mom went over there to give out food and bathroom supplies to my peoples...a $1 toothpaste frm dollar tree sell for $10 over there...you still dnt see how allowing 100k Haitians to earn a living here will help the people in Haiti?NOONE has answered this question. I want an answer to this then I'm done...
Jews invade black american neighborhoods and crack it in half, wheres the outrage there?
The birthright you claim isnt even given to you. What table? The very justice system in this country allows people to gun you down in the street with less respect then a dog.
Black americans have been here 400+ years and theyre still calling you african-american like you just set foot here.
The audacity
nikkas like you is exactly why any black/african institution, neighborhood, city, or nation cannot prosper. You fight against the same people they lump you with as if you were better off beforehand. Claim a country that wont even throw you a bone, and fight against the only example of YOUR people that laid down a European.
Haiti is still working with the IMF in 2014. What is the excuse now?
So you cursed me out for quoting you while you shamelessly tagged me in your rant... smhYou are purposely playing semantics. Maybe its just me....but there are black businesses in black neighborhoods and most of them have been there since the beginning. Is your barber white? What restaurants are you going too? Where do you get your fitteds?Hence the issue. For every place you name, I can probably name 4 that don't.
What's the avg income of these places you're referring too?
My educated guess would be Money.
