I'm actually not sure.....my friend who did study abroad at Cape Town is holding the rest of us from buying tickets but we're starting to think we'd rather go to one of the West African countries with beaches : Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast.

Just go... I wouldnt let anyone hold me back. Africa is an amazing experience that everyone in the diaspora should experience. My sis told me MANY good things about Ghana.
