Nothing about the way they are doing this season makes any sense for it to be a final season. This would have been OK if they were ending the show next season but to go down this goofy serial killing cult rabbit hole, introducing new characters the way they have and putting characters in the disparate emotional states they are in right now just isn't working for me.The show is just off and its like they picked the absolute worst time to have what is shaping up to be their worst season.

This shyt all over the damn place. Last season shoulda been the final and the shoulda ended it diferently. this weird ass cult shyt + a semi hot white bytch fbi agent, who is also a functioning meth head is just fukkin silly. Maybe they'll find a way to bring all this together.

For it to only be 8 episodes it seems kinda all over the place. 4 episodes left and they have to wrap up the white supremacist angle, the serial killer, the hacker who was tied to the mercenaries and whatever is going to happen with proctor vs hood. More power to them if they can pull it off without it being a clusterfuk cause right now idk.

That is what is bothering me...I can't see how they can come to any sort of satisfying conclusion for the characters we actually care about when they have all of these superfluous storylines to wrap up.
The minute they found out that this would be the last season they should re-worked things so that we would have spent 10 minutes of the first episode rescuing Job and totally skipped the months of torture that now has him suffering from PTSD; Rebecca should be alive and doing all sorts of fukkery to try and carve out a bigger piece for herself in Proctor's business; the skinheads should be the main "Big Bad" of the season; a final showdown between Proctor and Hood should have been the overarching theme that tied everything together and the serial killers, satanic cults and crackhead FBI agent chicks should have been tossed in the bushes.

loved the show from the start, but this season has been a mess.. i should of known this season was in trouble when they pushed it back from their usual season premiere date in January... this fukkin serial killer religious cult bullshyt

edit : they should of had this season as Hood Vs Proctor with the side story of getting Job back and the white supremacy storyline tied into Proctor.

I agree, this season isn't up to par with the previous seasons. I really don't like the demonic cult angle. It shoulda been Hood vs Proctor vs Neo-Nazis.

I hate the time jumps too. But at least we still get to see more Rebecca

Let's see how they finish off the second half of the season, but so far, this is sub-par tv (unfortunately )

This show is still great to me, will wait to see how it ends before I have complaints.

I mean whats the point of complaining or criticizing the unknown and not enjoy the ride? Banshee always been a show that felt unformalic (probably not a word but fukk it) and random to a degree with mad fukkery.... why change it now? Why not go out guns blazing?

I am the same way...I love this show and for the first couple of episodes I was even trying to convince myself that things weren't bad but this past week's episode just made me face the reality of the situation.

Usually I would just because it's banshee, but I can't get into it at all.

Even if it was just mediocre, I would ride it out.
