The final episode was good but the overall storyline for season 4 was average. They should have gone with the angle of Hood and Proctor teaming up after the end of season three. Hood could have used Proctor's resources as mayor and crime lord to find Job sooner than he did. Plus he could have stayed with Ana (the love of his life) and raised his daughter. It made no sense for him to live in the middle of nowhere doing nothing for 18 months.

It could have been Hood/Proctor/Burton/Ana/BPD .vs The Cartel/White Supremacists/Chayton/Nola/Redbones. That's beef and f*ckery galore.

Nah, fukk that, we going shytty CBS cop procedural

Instead we get a murder mystery and a mute hero who can't keep his tobacco lip tucked in.

The one I REALLY miss is "Quarry". To be honest, Banshee pretty much ended when it had already done all it needed to do. We didn't really need a new "Chayton of the year" show.
But "Quarry" ended when it was really just getting started.

I'm late Comer to Banshee, as a Boys fan and the appreciation for Homelanders acting I wanted to watch this shyt

I binge watched the hell out of this show within a week while working a 9 to 5

Like other posters stated seasons 1-3, GOAT writing, season 4 let me down but finale was 4.5/5

Awesome show and totally understand why season 4 was only 8 episodes and budget cut associated with it...

To me not to sound gay, but a series focusing on Job and Hood moving forward might do numbers, especially with all the LGBTQ stuff being pushed....

I really wish Chayton got a chance to learn of Nola's death. In fact was ever hinted that they told the police about her or did she get the Jason Hood meat grinder treatment. Either way a sad end.

Also and this may be controversial...

If the Nazi Cop/Ozark actor had got the Smithers role from the get go....

Smithers was great for what he had to do. However, his intensity always seemed a bit forced. Would have a legit great actor in that role and he would have become a bigger deal.

As much as I love Antony Star as Homelander in The Boys....

I got done watching the series on HBOmax in about a week lol. So far I rate the seasons 3>1>2>4. Three was peak Bing watching TV. I haven't been stuck on a show like that since the season one of Lost, Prison Break, and Homeland.

I didn't like the serial killer story, especially when he was revealed to be a Satanist. When they went through that reveal I thought it came from a Dexter plot line and they needed Faith from Buffy to play Deb Morgan. Faith is the OG Jessie Jones BTW

My dream idea would be the gang gee more into the secret agency Hood was a part of when they go looking for Job. They should of had Therapist Doakes play Emmett brother that works for BSD and helps the ex nazi cop take down the nazis. I still would have wanted Hood to take down Procter because that was "The Rivalary" to me.

Overall I'm glad I watched this show and ty for people recommending it. I watched it because of Starrs acting in The Boys. The only character I hated was Carrie. The actress did great, Carrie was just a garbage human being
. The ex nazi cop put on a good performance here and on Ozark which just shows how terrible Iron Fist was

Damn great ride
