But yea you're right.... however, Pakistan is more 'Islamist' than those people wanted to be... Bangladesh is trying to modernize. Plus Pakistan has other culture issues that are unique to them and their neighbor (I'm banned from mentioning that neighboring country's name)

Nah, not hung or shot. I just mean that the governments should prevent extremists from achieving political power, like this man has, and also crack down on extremism through education and public awareness campaigns.

it's easy to label ppl extremists and radicals just cause the mainstream doesn't agree with them then discriminate against them.

Believing that Bangladesh shouldve remained a part of Pakistan is/was a legitimate political opinion

rape and mass murder is not a legitimate means to achieve that

However, like just about anything, hidden agendas and ulterior motives come into play (ie the ruling awami party using these war crimes tribunals to silence/marginalize the opposition bnp)
