Everything you just said here I agree with.

We gotta stop the Zab comparison though, because AB ain't no Zab...Adrien Broner is more like Oba Carr right now:wow:

Zab beat fighters (like Cory Spinks, Lucas Matthysse, Junior Witter, and DeMarcus Corley) on a level that AB hasn't been able to beat yet in 33 career fights:manny:

Breh, I never compared Broner to Zab.

I said he's the most talented frustrating boxer to watch since Zab. Judah is more accomplished, but that statement is still true.

Zab had the talent and skill to beat guys like Khan, Baldomier, Clottey, but he got that work against each of them. All those fights were frustrating as fukk to watch if you were a big Zab fan (like I am)

Broner ain't even Oba Carr status right now to me.

Dude went life and death with Emmanuel Taylor, a guy Algieri shut out.

At this point I don't know who I'd favor Broner to beat between 140-147.

Not you (comparing Zab to AB), but just in general...cause I've said it in the past.

Zab was better than AB is and it's actually wrong to compare them.

Oba wasn't better than AB, they are actually alot similar in career trajectory as well because alot of us thought Carr was gonna be that deal...until Bramble tossed that into the bushes:wow:

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of WBC/WBO/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., was very disappointed with Adrien Broner's performance on Saturday night.

Broner was dominated over twelve rounds by Shawn Porter, who picked up a unanimous decision victory at the MGM Grand.

Mayweather Sr. had picked Broner to win the fight.

For Saturday's fight, Broner held his camp at the Mayweather Boxing Club. There were questions raised about Broner's dedication during training camp.

"I'll be honest with you, I voted for Broner. I was thinking Broner was going to win. You cant keep making excuses for people. You can't keep making excuses. if he knows that there is something that he didn't do right, he knows right from wrong. If he did it wrong and got his ass whopped, that's what is supposed to happen," Mayweather Sr. told BoxingScene.com.

"He's not no top ranked fighter, in the rankings. He held all night. Broner looked like nothing. All that grabbing and holding. With all that stuff he does...the women...the drinking...all that stuff. He's not going to do nothing. He looked like a bum. First, he needs to learn how to fight. If he wants to learn how to fight, he needs to come see me - or else forget it, done. My whole saying is, it's my way or the highway and no other way.

"All the things Broner was saying, none of it was true. Don't get me wrong, I see where he's got ability, but with all the sh*t with these girls and drinking, he's never going to get nowhere."

Ok I feel you.

Maybe I'm being harder on Broner cuz the loss is still fresh, but I'll leave it at Broner and Carr being on similar levels.

Dude's been disappointing as fukk lately. :snoop:

- Chino loss because he think he's some rap star
- Looked like shyt against Molina
- Struggled with Taylor a lil too much at times, but it was a good scrap.
- Should have KO'ed the other Molina instead of stinking the joint out.
- Loses to Porter when they had a catchweight that benefitted him

That's a horrible stretch to me.

I had it 113-113 draw or possibly 114-112 at max for Porter.

HOW SWAY?

I gave Adrien Broner rounds 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 12....Cleaner punches landed.

However, 114-112 for Porter would be fine too. Anything higher, I disagree with.
