Question for everyone: who determines the jury selection and has control over where they're picked from?

pretty sure the jury is picked by the lawyers/DA. don't know if they have control over WHERE they pick from the jury from.

It's several people locked up now that didn't leave their home that morning thinking they would take a life. And by that same token it's several people that left their home and didn't think they wouldn't pass away at the hands of someone else either.

You know what's crazy is how the US [business wise] has said that Unions "were" good for companies but it became clear that they also protect the bad and undeserving and can do harm to a company's growth. Now look at these Police Unions. They will protect bad, lazy and undeserving cops to the death knowing they are wrong...all because they pay some damn Union dues. So if the country views unions as unneeded now...then it's time for the Police Union to get disbanded.

the county is 65% white, the city is 65% black.

It's supposed to be people from within the community of the incident but it can be moved for the defendant if they don't think it will be a fair trial
