He can feast on backup centers, idk why he wouldn’t accept that role. He helps Lakers and himself
This. When he can't overpower guys, he's useless. The matchups are so much better for him off the bench.

Also, his conditioning has always been pretty trash. He can go all out in spurts off the bench and not get tired.

he's probably the best conditioned player on the team right now. and there are very few players in the league he cant overpower.

if you just want to keep on hating fine, but youre wrong. Julius CLEARLY put in the most work this offseason with his conditioning and training. its like night day, the agenda shyt you on gotta stop. And yes he is one of the strongest players at his position period. dude is 240 with 6% body fat

When he starts, he goes against other players just as strong as him and taller. That's why he struggles as a starter and looks night and day better off the bench.
