Man I thought those two would be gone before DLO but shyt Magic proved me wrong. I let myself get hyped from what they were saying how Randle was improving over the summer. All I see is the same dude from last year and it looks like Clarkson had gotten worse.

Randle is by far worse

Look at his +/- past few games compared to others... He's averaging like a -15


Clarkson looks just like I thought he would.. Like 6th man at the most. Randle looks terrible. I know its only preseason but fukk...

Russell is going to ball. The Nets have one of the fastest pace offenses and Lin doesn't know how to be a Pg anymore.


We've seen it before what happens when you shyt on your players (Knicks, 76ers) and now the Lakers are going to be back in the lottery without a pick.

Ingram's problem is taking threes. He has all of that length but can't finish around the basket or hit mid-range shots against clear mismatches.

Lakers IQ collectively is very low.

I'm actually starting to wonder if it isn't the players, but our coaching and surrounding staff.

Usually when you have a pretty substantial amount of players with high potential (Clarkson, Randle, Russell and Ingram) but they don't pan out, there's a common denominator somewhere.

If Ball follows the same pattern, we should start putting the spotlight on the coaches.

I have almost zero doubts if anybody I mentioned couldn't go to another team and light it up. Everyone of those guys have shown flashes and what they're capable of, but a consistent coach/staff can help put them in positions to turn that into something more consistent.

Even the vets who they signed that had something in the tank and were ready to contribute looked like they aged after one summer after joining the team.
