I am not gonna talk about shooting but Lonzo desperately needs to learn some dribble moves. His halfcourt game looked really bad
yea it wouldnt matter as much if we had a good offcourt 2 (russell lol)...but he's gonna have to create a bit more in the halfcourt to be a more dangerous passing threat. It does seem like Ingram is a guy that can get you a bucket in the halfcourt. And as much as yall hate Randle, he is a positive halfcourt player cause he draws fouls and bulldozes his way to the rim quite easliy. If Luke truly plans to use Brook as a stretch 5, than Randle is gonna average up to 17ppg. yall like to say Nance should start over randle, but really...im looking forward to the zo/randle PNR moreso than any other combo cause 1) Randle has good hands and knows when to expect passes and 2) can get to the rim whenever he wants or draw foul when he receives the pass. Randle's ability to handle the ball in transistion is gonna be a positive for Lonzo. I saw someone say today now that we had lonzo, they didnt want randle bringing the ball up court...but really, if Randle got a board, I have zero issue with him bringing it down the court with his speed, cause he is good at creating in transition and would open up some transition 3's for lonzo. Kinda like how Green does with Steph and Klay. Im hoping we make some move at SG in free agency, because im not sure Clarkson has the off-ball tendencies to thrive as a starting SG in Luke's system. we need a shooter badly. Josh Hart wont cut it either as a starter, neither would Nwaba.
