They're not going after Melo. Melo is only going to Houston or Cleveland.

Hopefully the Lakers get in on that deal to get rid of Deng and maybe even get a couple second rounders.
If Magic could get rid of Deng without attaching an asset AGAIN , I would quickly erase Rent A Bulldozer from my speed dial.

Magic signed Mozgov and Deng to those terrible ass deals? :usure:

Or are you just bytching about Russell? Cause if so you need to get a grip. I actually liked Russell's game, but nikkas are trying to retroactively turn him into basketball Jesus.

Other than snitching is there anything that Russell did that Lonzo can't do better?
create his own shot and score

and lets just wait until Lonzo play his first nba game will you. He hasn't even played in the summer league yet. Russell was getting praises for his passing and vision coming out of college too.

In order to get rid of Melo the Knicks are gonna have to take on a bad contract from someone.

But we'll have to give an asset or something.

I don't really want Melo and even a Randle/Deng swap for him has me :ld:

When his contract expires? If it's next summer then yeah :manny:

I'm interested to see how Randle does this season, he's in the best situation he's had in his career:

1. He's young and looks in the best shape of his life (hopefully he maintains that).
2. He'll play with a pass-first PG with elite passing skills and can knock down shots.
3. Lopez is like the perfect C around him: protect the rim and space the floor/hit the 3.

Not to mention new management/aura around the team.

If he plays out of our range, then let him walk :manny:

If he has a breakout year and teams are willing to give him 20-25 per, it might not be worth it to keep him.

With the right moves, we can basically have like 2 max slots come next summer (that involves moving Deng for an expirer tho)

He'll be restricted and we can go over the cap to sign him even with two max contracts.

Brook can't protect anything.
