Such a shytty quote by Magic and full of lies. shytting on a guy because you just traded him. There is zero proof that teammates didn't like D'Angelo. The only guy you can say had issues was Nick Young but even he and D'LO were able to work together. Nick Young had one of his best seasons because of D'Angelo assists. No one said he was a leader, he is a 20 year old kid and a immature one. No one wanted him to be a leader, you can bring in vets to do that job. We know the reason he got rid of him, that is because his close friend Byron didn't like him. Byron continued shytting on D'Angelo on ESPN whenever he had the chance. You had a team with Lou Williams, Clarkson and Nick Young and want teammates to play better basketball:mjlol:. Him trading away a young guy for his hopes of Lebron and PG is horrible:scust:. Let him leave gracefully instead of making up stupid shyt

Come on magic. Even if DLO isn't the leader we expected. We drafted that leader, just move him to the 2 and keep it moving. The only way you could convince me of this trade is if his work ethic was questionable and I'm talking this past offseason not with Tank commander Byron.
The Lakers felt that he had a questionable work ethic and was a negative in the locker room. Apparently he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Including the coaching staff and players.

I don't know why you guys are still upset over the trade. This isn't a 21 year old Kobe Bryant level player or even a young Andrew Bynum that we traded. Russell will never be an all-star. He will never be special. Its very telling that no team in the top 20 was even willing to trade a draft pick for him. He isn't as good as you're making him out to be.

No team in the top 20 wanted to trade for him because they had to accept Mozgov with that deal. That would make even a needy team reticent, unless you're totally deficient of assets like BKN.

I didn't say I know more, but I am not gullible enough to fall for this PR ass quote. He was targeting people exactly like you to justify the horrible trade. Please show proof who is mad at him? I can give you pics of him hanging out with Randle, Clarkson, Zubac, and Nance. Who exactly did he have issues with?

Doughboy never endeared himself to anyone, including a lot of fans. His lack of effort was always an issue. With all his faults Randle is much more loved because you can see the effort and desire. Maybe he could have changed that, and I still think we should have played out the year, but maybe it was a big issue in the locker room :yeshrug:
