Giannis didn't have a high usage his second year? He was the franchise player for his team early onI wanna see my boy ingram become a star but this pic don't really tell the story at all. None of those players were as featured or had usage rates as high as ingram at that point. Not saying he won't be better but ijs

19.6%; lotta guys had higher usage rates than him on the Bucks that season. Ingram is 21.7% this year with four guys ahead of him.Giannis didn't have a high usage his second year? He was the franchise player for his team early on
You hit the nail on the head, especially that last bolded part.As a non-Laker fan but a Laker sympathizer, the biggest problem y’all have is talent and certain players with egos too big for their ability (Clarkson for example). Lakers played really well in a lot of games they lost until Lonzo went down. Then shyt hit the fan as the team concept they had turned into iso ball and the result was ugly. Now nikkas are clearly playing for themselves and are frustrated with losing. You have a lot of young players and young players by and don’t know how to deal with losing since they had to win all their lives to even get to the NBA level. Looks like those frustrations have taken over.
The Lakers would be good to acquire a mature veteran who can help stabilize and mentor this group cuz if the coaching staff are the only voices trying to hold it together then it won’t work. One of the players has to step up as a leader.
Also, this roster is made up of players that don’t compliment each other well. There isn’t a coach in the league that could make this group successful. Losing skids happen sometimes and when they do it can get ugly. Coaches are always first to get blamed but really, what else could Luke Walton do with a bunch of guys who are the same height, with the same skill set, same mentality and most importantly the same age (young).
As for Luke Walton, I think the biggest thing he’s doing wrong right now is letting the slump get to him as well. He’s looking like he doesn’t know what to do out there and it sends the wrong message to the team. He needs to watch his body language because players pick up on that. If the players don’t think their coach feels they’re good enough to compete then then the players will lose faith themselves.
I'm definitely not one of themThe "Let's Now Start Hating On Kyle Kuzma" bandwagon is revving up huh?
nikkas loved at first, then started hating on Clarkson, Randle, Russell, Ingram....and I guess it's now Kuz' time now
