Kuzma has been gunning all season, he's just getting more touches and playing more minutes now. He has an off night every few games but usually bounces back. Hitting the rookie wall is inevitable, but Luke is going to speed up the process playing him so many minutes.
I don't even think it was the rookie wall. I think it was the thigh or hip contusion that was affecting him. He was lacking explosiveness and his jumper didn't look right at all as he was elevating. I do love that he wasn't afraid to keep shooting even while having a shytty night though as long as those types of shooting nights aren't regular occurrences.

I'm also at the point of wanting to see if Lakers can get anything in a trade for KCP. I'm just wondering if Ingram can play the 2. I'd love to see a lineup eventually of Ball, Ingram, Kuzma, Nance, and Lopez starting with Clarkson and Randle the first two off the bench.

I'm actually feeling bad for Randle. They must have really had that Noel trade in the works until Noel hurt himself. Maybe that trade is imminent? Something needs to happen. We can use a shakeup.
It seems since the rumblings of the trade came out he just said fukk it and went full blown "go for mines" mode. He was primarily looking for his shot earlier in the year but was passing a lot more. He's definitely been a lot more selfish the last few games. At the same times it's some bullshyt to have his minutes get jerked around the way they have been. Luke's rotations don't make sense at all at times. What's the point of putting in Caruso and Ennis during crucial stretches in the fourth. Put them in earlier in the game. Playing Ingram 44 minutes.

Why not give Zubac or Bryant some minutes? I think the big problem is lack of depth and Luke not balancing lineups with enough defense and offense. I swore there was one lineup he played with one of Randle or Clarkson and four nonscorers.

I think it is evident that Luke has a mandate from Magic/Pelinka on some guys. Luke never has a good answer on what’s going on with Randle and the media strangely aren’t pressing Luke on the situation.

Randle must be getting low minutes to prevent injury. I read somewhere that his qualifying offer would be higher if he starts a certain amount of games too, so this could be squeezing every little bit out of salary cap space.

Kuzma - 4-24 FG, 1-11 3PT
Ingram - 9-20 FG
Clarkson - 7-17 FG, 5-9 3PT
KCP - 4-10 FG, 1-4 3PT

:hhh: I guess Kuzma has the ultimate green light to shoot at will now
I like it. He didn’t have his legs last night but I want to see what he could do. He’s been so efficient all season it would be a waste not to give him the green light.

Luke is a terrible coach

There’s gotta be something going on behind the scenes with Randle. Either they are working to trade him or he’s just on some fuk shyt that has got him in Lukes dog house that we don’t know about..

I’m not even a Randle fan, I actually wanted him gone after last season but he has played himself to be part of the core but the way Luke has played with his minutes..it doesn’t make sense. He’s easily in our top 5 players in terms of production and only plays less than 20 minutes per game :stopitslime: last nite he should’ve played more than 15 minutes especially the way Kuzma looked so fatigue.

Luke’s rotation was woat last nite too. I don’t know what the fuk this dude is doin feels like he has no feel for the game.

I said early on, Luke's biggest problem is not giving everyone defined roles so they know what to expect every night. Kuzma, Ingram and KCP are the only three that know how much they're gonna play on a given night. Everyone else is up in the air.

Assuming he was mostly healthy, I have no problem with Kuzma getting 34 minutes last night, even with the 4-24 shooting. With the efficiency he's shown all season, he's earned the right to play through a dud.

It doesn't make sense why they haven't traded Randle yet. It wasn't his best night, but I thought Luke shoulda tried the Nance/Randle front court in the fourth. He coulda taken him out because of the 2-6 from the line though.

Despite everything that went wrong last night, if they hit their free throws (mainly Ingram and Randle), they coulda won. None of their main rotational players are above 77% from the line, which is crazy to think about.

Yeah there's at least 5 more wins the Lakers could have if they could just knock down some free throws.

The refs were horrible last night. They missed some huge calls. An obvious travel call I think it was on Gasol. The out of bounds on I think Chalmers that wasn't called and lead to the Memphis 3. And there was a couple other shyt calls down the stretch.

And maybe I'm tripping but I swear the Lakers offense looks like a college offense. A bunch of passing around the perimeter before somebody isos. Not much going to the basket at all or creating of good looks. The Warriors offense isn't really that great if you didn't have the crazy shooting of Klay, KD, or Steph to open up the rest of the offense. Going forward with Lonzo, Ingram, and Kuzma as the core they'll need an offense tailored around their skillsets and realize they ain't shooters like what worked with the Warriors. Work more like the Spurs using drive and kick to open up shooting from inside out instead of using the threat of threes to open up the inside like the Warriors dude.

Whatever they are doing it is stupid as fukk. There is absolutely nothing to gain by playing dude 11 minutes...nothing

They 20 assists combined as a team is the reason they loss, Luke admitted it himself. Too many SELFISH ass nikkas on the team that BEEN here and never improved

Breh a dude shooting 4-24 is 9 times out of 10 an L. Especially with this team. You cant be serious. 20 assists well yea when a nikka shooting 4-24 not gonna be many assist. Atleast try to make sense. Its like impossible for you dudes to credit blame properly. How you gon shyt on "selfish" nikkas then give a nikka a pass shooting 4-24...think before you type. The fact you tried to blame a dude that played 11 minutes is fukkin hilarious too
