obviously it will never have as many as pc, but there is still some good shyt here

more/better faces (my only complaint for the creator in the vanilla game was the lack of good looking faces)

I'm in the Underdark about to hit Moonrise on my 2nd* playthrough (my 1st one is at the end but I started this one cause I couldn't remember shyt). Definitely the least favorite part of the game... Used my first cheat to skip some longer parts.

...I still haven't finished Veilguard.
But I'm like, 10+ hours into another BG3 modded run since I last did a mission in DAV

Modpack I got outchea tryna pack me up tho... -75% damage taken for bosses on tactician plus doubled health and random buffs got me fighting for my life. Dror Ragzlin lived more than 3 turns for the first time since Early Access. Cuz would NOT die WHO GAVE A BARBARIAN SMITES. GET ME THEIR MANAGER.

Playing this now with a 5 member team mod (Tav, Shadowheart, Minthara, Karlach, and Laezel), the Tactician plus mod to make mods smarter and give 10% more health, and the extra mini bosses and encounter mod.

My team is War Ready , and this is the most fun I’ve had with a game since GTA 5 first came out.

you mean when you rank up from infantryman frontliner to a general and learn the joys and challenge of stategy
Good squad cohesion be having BG3 play like a turn-based jumping simulator where you and yo folks all just beat the shyt out people unchallenged. That's fun for anyone

It does feel like jumping people, but man they be putting up a fight.
It’s like an ambush simulator. Like any chance I can get to get numbers on my side. I am taking it.

put the spell darkness on and around the portal - this prevents archers from shooting it straight up.
set the table, but barrels and water all around where the enemy spawns from. drop big body AoE spells like wall of fire, ice storm or whatever its called, etc
keep your melee guys at the edge of the steps, anything coming up should take attacks of opportunity for trying to pass.
make sure you've got light sources on your equipment or on the ground to prevent the shadows from doing shenanigans

i can do it in my sleep now.

I just did this and didn‘t think of using darkness, but I’m gonna remember that next time I have to protect something. I had melee at the edge of the steps, Shadowheart healing and casting while holding a torch, and my Tav doing his best to clean up job for anyone who got past the rest of the party. I beat it the first time but the portal was at 30% and surrounded and I used Thunder from two characters to clear the rock on the last round.

shyt was intense. It escalates so fukking quick.

It doesn’t but the story is more interesting when you do Dark Urge

I have three different playthrought near the end of the game but I keep trying to beat all the side missions before doing the final missions.
