lol at ending food subsidies, rural subsidies, renewable subsidies, K-12 aid, cutting college student aid, slashing medicare, slashing SSDI, and SSI. Whoever wrote that just doesn't like people.


If you actually want to balance the budget, cut farm subsidies, fossil fuel and and lot of other business subsidies, defense budget, raise capital gains tax and institute a wealth tax. It'd be a cinch to come up with enough money that way. But that will never happen due to who runs the government.

Balancing the budget is mostly just a political tool politicians use when the opposing party is in office. None of them are really looking to actually do it.
Agreed.
The question really is, is there a limit (and if so, what is it), or can we print and spend indefinitely?

If there is a limit, then there's always going to be a case for reducing/limiting spending.
