if he had become a near billionaire doing some noble profession it wouldn't be a problem.
he's the type of person who doesn't care about people and only looks at the bottom line. no one wants that in a president. at least i don't.
Can you provide the long list of noble billionaires who made their money in a completely altruistic manner and never once had to do something that could be seen as untoward in their journey to success?

That's the problem. Mitt should be in the shadows like the Koch brothers. But instead he wants to run for president even with all the shady moves he has made to amass his fortune.
He's in the public arena. Questions about his wealth are fair game.

We have had coke head trust fund babies, the drunken idle rich, ambulance chasing lawyers, male gold diggers, sons of bootlegging nazi sympathizers and who knows what else.
Romney is not bringing shame to ranks of presidntial candidates due to his business past.
And to answer my own question about billionaires, one comes to mind: Ross Perot.
