Akan and fante were brought to many of the islands particularly Jamaica and Curacao Suriname Guyana etc

If I'm not mistaken the a man were allied with the British and the fante were allied with the Dutch


Also the British stopped importing them as they were quite combative.....maybe the reason why so many Jamaicans are argumentative??

Anyway we know many Akan slaves were taken to Jamaica and provide the basic of the culture
