Habeshas vs Cushytes is almost unheard of. "Cushyte" isn't really an identity. Somalis, for instance, do not feel any closeness to oromos or Afars back home. All other Horners are just "Habashi" to most of us :Hemad:

Habesha, on the other hand, is a cultural identity. Even though many Eritrean nationalists hate that term and try to distance themselves from it for political reasons.
