Record labels need the right demand to put out releases and it takes time to build the fanbase that has the conviction to purchase music in this global market. There are formulas used from downloads, to radio play, to billboard chart positions etc.. Albums wont see a release unless they satisfy the record label and distributor in those regards.
French and MGK got their releases approved from satisfying these formulas...Cassie is just starting over as a brand new artist. She's got a long way to go but her mixtape is at almost 200K and getting some good feedback. Therefore its a good starting place that will organically improve.
