Backstage Issues with Ryback vs. CM Punk at Hell in a Cell | WrestleZone

The following is courtesy The Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

This should not shock anyone, as WWE Writers are having a hard time coming up with a finish for CM Punk vs. Ryback at WWE Hell in a Cell. WWE officials, including Vince McMahon himself, are very high on Ryback, and do not want him losing clean at the Pay Per View. They also have talked about keeping the WWE Championship on CM Punk's waist until Royal Rumble, where The Rock will battle for the gold.

The end of the event will most likely be this match, but they do not want to end the Pay Per View with a Disqualification or screw job, as it will take away from both men. Furthermore, officials do not want to end the show with Sheamus vs. Big Show, as it is not as big of a draw.

One idea being heavily discussed is Brock Lesnar coming out and costing Ryback the match. This would cause some problems for the WWE, including another wasted date and Triple H's revenge on Lesnar being put on hold. Either way, WWE will most likely have to come up with multiple ideas in the next week to decide on which route to take.

1. Nobody wants to see a Brock/Haitch rematch.

2. If Cena was hurt that badly and needed surgery, why try to make the match between he and Punk to begin with?

3. when they found out Cena couldn't go, they could have easily plugged in an Orton type into the match and continued on with the slow burn for Ryback..

This is why I stopped watching this shyt this summer, and it hasn't improved at all. It's too bad TNA will never be as popular because it has been better by far since going live this year. I can't remember the last time I watched a full episode of RAW, just come on here for tsc fukkery. :ahh:

Perfect chance for Ceno to go heal by costing Ryback the match. No one wold be mad abut an unclean finish if it involved Cena turning.

Never you mind....
That's what happens when you rely on one guy (and I like John Cena). John isn't cleared to compete at the ppv and Ryback is not ready to get the belt. Wonder how they're going to resolve this issue :heh: Should be interesting :mjpls:

If Show wins the WHC, he should interfer on some only one monster in the fed steeze. That sets up perfectly Show/Ry at the next PPV where Ry can get the world title.
