:francis: Pepsi really screwed the pooch on this one. They tweeted like 25 min ago that the bottles went on sale and sold out faster than they can say 1.21 gigawatts.

to that I say, what the hell is a gigawatt?

and 2ndly, bullshyt lol. They sold them early, Amazon seemingly sold off whatever product they had left on some fluke shyt and they never once tweeted people a link to walmart or amazon to even buy them because they don't come up in a search. I have no idea how a company that's been around this long completely flubs the release of a product. You tell people to follow your twitter account for info and you don't even have the brainpower to tweet links or give them times when it will be on sale? Just saying "this morning" doesn't work. :francis:

You would think they had one person - just one - in the marketing department, who this might have meant something to. Like he's been banging on about it for years to his coworkers and they all tell him to :camby:


Seriously, someone in the Pepsi PR department should have woke up this morning, ironed their Dockers and headed out to work like "Oct 21st, 2015 - Awwwww yeah - It's Alan's time to shine... :myman:"

:russ: word. I don't see how its possible to screw this up. But I guess it is. In the age of social media they manged to do the impossible which is release something without giving a time or a link. You'd think ONE person would've been on their job. Now they're going to get nothing but bad press for this when they should be reveling in all the good press for today. I'm even picking up a USA Today tomorrow morning for the Hill Valley News
