Hauser getting shipped out this offseason. Don't see us paying $10 Million plus Tax and I believe Holiday getting shipped out too. Those two contracts will save the team about $260 million in tax penalties alone next season, then you add the 1st round salary slot for 2025 and they'll get under the 2nd apron. They'll take a lesser contract and attach Next years 1st rounder and some other picks and pay some taxes for Jrue replacement.

I don't think they paying the $282 Million in taxes. Makes no sense.

If I am Brad I'll try sending Holiday and a few picks to Chicago and see if they wanna trade Coby White($12 Million) or Josh Giddey ($8 Million), Giddey preferably because of his playmaking and rebounding ability, to shed major salary. They wont give me the all nba defense but the one we get will be solid replacement for Jrue, just let Derrick white run the point.

Derrick White
Jaylen Brown
Josh Giddey
Jayson Tatum
Kristaps Porzingis
is a solid starting 5

Pritchard
Horford(Vet Min)
Walsh
Queta
Baylor S.
3 Other Vet Minimun salaries
in Rotation

(2) 2 way players
Gotta get rid of Tillman as well.

Giddey is a RFA and looking for 30M+ per season tho. He could get squeezed depending on how the league values him... Plus there aren't many teams with a lot cap space. He'll probably end up somewhere between 23-27Ms IMO

Going after Coby, Lonzo or Ayo makes more sense, they will have a year left before they are UFAs, Zo has a team option after next season.

Bulls aren't going to add Holiday, would need a 3rd team involved to take him and comp the Bulls with more draft picks

True was looking at the wrong year, Giddey is a RFA next season, Takes us out of the race for his services. I'd still try to trade for Coby. Lonzo injury history is concerning with Porzingis also being injury prone already in our team. Ayo Dosunmu would be solid replacement for Jrue.

Completely agree. No way they pay for Hauser's salary next year. And funny thing is I thought Porzingis would be the odd man out. But he's been exceeding expectations. And he's only 29. He compliments the Jays so well

Horford's 10 mill contract ending this year would help a lot too. He'll just sign a vet min

It's an amazing story with Lonzo, from watching all of his games this season, I can confidently say he's back physically. His shooting %s from 3 are a little down but it just came out that he wasn't cleared to shoot extra shots until recently. He's been flying around and catching lobs and shyt, it's amazing to watch...
:wow:

Bulls locked him in for 10M next season and a team option the year after that and there are also injury protections in the deal. My guess is they did that to eventually trade him. He would be dope in Boston, dude is a championship caliber player IMO.

Bulls really have a ridiculous amount of depth at the PG position and depending on where they pick in this draft, BPA could be another guard that they can't pass up on. Tre Jones could be another guy to look at

:snoop:

They will have to trade some of these dudes this offseason, but it's Chicago so them having 10 guards on the roster is also par for the course.

I'm still hoping we sign O'shae for the playoff run as an extra body. Walsh, Schierman, and Peterson still too inexperienced. O'shae knows the system, has veteran smarts, and gave us good energy, ran the floor, played good defense, and got timely rebounds.

I miss O'Shae. He was one of the most important players in that Celtics-Pacers series last year. He is a great pick and roll defender. Hauser fell off a cliff during the series (which is normal at this point lol), and he had our back

After the Lakers and Thunder games, the last games of the season should be playing Torey Craig and Queta more. They are going to be important to the team for the playoffs, need them ready and up to speed ASAP

On the subject of Kornet, I have never seen a dude have so many balls for potential rebounds fall into his hands, but he somehow bobbles the ball and fumbles it over to the opponent. Just grab the ball Luke, sheesh.
